Brekete Family: NOUN responded to Ahmed Isa's criticism of its academic programs.

 The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has responded to Mr Ahmed Isa's (also known as "Ordinary President") claim that some of the Institution's academic programs are not authorized on his well-liked program, "Brekete Family." On the daily popular program that he presents on Thursday, October 6, 2022, Mr Isa remarked indignantly about institutions that allegedly run courses without government approval, "It's just like National Open University of Nigeria wey dey offer some courses without accreditation - 419!" The university administration was dismayed that an informed commentator like Isa would speak in such a crude manner in a public setting where the audience looked at him for reliable knowledge and direction. Supporters of Obi stop their actions in Asaba and Calabar

 Supporters of Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi and his running mate Yusuf Datti-Ahmed yesterday shut down major streets in the capital cities of Asaba, Delta State, and Calabar, Cross River State, for hours. Commercial tricycle drivers in Asaba experienced extreme congestion during the road walk, which started at the Inter Bau Flyover and travelled to Ogbogonogo before returning to the flyover. It was the second shutdown in Asaba; the "Obidient" Movement, which consists of diverse supporters of the Obi/Datti presidential ticket, held a similar one over the weekend. They sang and danced to music from different DJs, bringing in more individuals who showed a desire to support LP in the upcoming presidential election.
